About Spin Wizard
Eranga Mendis is a specialist cricket and spin bowling coach. He’s a former Sri Lankan first-class cricket player with a wealth of experience playing in both Sri Lanka and England. Eranga has coached for over fifteen years. His focus is not just on the technical aspects of cricket, but on the whole player, unlocking the potential for success at the highest level.
He is an ECB Level 4 Coach with deep, extensive knowledge and experience – one of the best of an unsung elite group of specialist spin bowling coaches on the current circuit.

Eranga is the “go to man” for many professional players and cricketing organisations around the world. His expertise has led him to work with over 1000 players and coaches. He is a regular member of the coaching team at Surrey county cricket club for their Elite and Performance Programmes.

What Does The Program Offer?
The Spin Bowling Camp program is carefully designed to improve a bowler’s spin credentials in sub-continent conditions and increase their capabilities in the domestic game too. It will broaden the player’s experience and include critical geographically important knowledge that’s crucial to developing top-class spinners. It will teach you what it takes to be an effective spin bowler by developing the ability to control the game and break partnerships with spin/pace and control. This program will benefit everyone involved. You’ll have the opportunity to bat against spin bowling and perform as a spinner. It’s a win-win situation for all.

The camp offers intensive individual and first-class group coaching sessions across all facets of spin bowling. Participants will gain enormously from the experience, training, and playing on first-class grounds. These include

High-intensive spin bowling-specific training

Spin games including 2 x T20’s , 4 x 50 Over

Profiling of spinners including spin rate, speed, line, and lengths

Mind skills on Spin Bowling, Field placement, and strategies workshops

Each player will get 5 tour training kits

15-minute follow up session for each participant in January
Accomodation
Designed by world-renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa, The Blue Water Hotel and Spa offers 5 star luxury accommodation with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Nestled amongst the wild coconut groves of Wadduwa, The Blue Water Hotel and Spa is truly a laid back paradise. The cool palms cast their shadow over the blue water, lit only by the last streaks of the setting sun, retreat from reality and surrender to the sublime serenity of the tropical island.

The Team will stay at the hotel throughout their time in Sri Lanka and the accommodation will be on Full Board basis on non-match days and Half Board basis on match days with match-day meals provided at the ground.
