APEX Cricket Festival - UK 2027

The Apex Cricket Festival is expanding to the United Kingdom in 2027, bringing its world-class youth cricket experience to two prestigious school venues. The festival will take place at Millfield School from Sunday 4th July to Wednesday 7th July 2027, followed by a second edition at St Peter’s York School from Sunday 11th July to Wednesday 14th July 2027. Both events promise the same high-energy T20 format, elite coaching, and international camaraderie that define the APEX philosophy. Young athletes will have the opportunity to test their skills against top U15 talent from around the world in a professionally structured environment designed to inspire confidence, development, and teamwork.

 

Just like the acclaimed Apex Cricket Festival in Cape Town, the UK editions will combine competitive cricket with holistic player growth, strong community spirit, and an unforgettable festival atmosphere. From high-performance sessions to cultural exchange and team-building moments, each UK festival offers rising cricketers the chance to grow both on and off the field while experiencing everything APEX is known for. With two exceptional venues and dates confirmed, the UK edition promises an international cricket experience not to be missed.

Day 01

Arrival, Registration & Welcome

  • Teams arrive on campus between 12:00–14:00 and complete registration at Ivythorn House before being guided to their boarding accommodation.

  • A short fire drill and orientation takes place, followed by an all-teams skills session.

  • The day concludes with the Official Welcome Ceremony featuring special guest speakers, followed by an APEX Welcome Asado Dinner and relaxed social time.

Day 02

Festival Day 1 – T20 Matches

  • The first full match day begins after breakfast. Teams compete in T20 matches across multiple venues, including on-campus grounds and selected off-site locations.

  • Matches are scheduled across morning and afternoon sessions, with transport provided where required.

  • Lunch is served at Wilson Pavilion or delivered to off-site venues.

  • Dinner follows in the evening after the final matches conclude.

Day 02

  • Teams alternate between T20 match play and structured cricket skills sessions, ensuring every squad remains active throughout the day.

  • Matches run across morning and afternoon time slots, with skills sessions delivered by experienced coaches.

  • Lunch is served midday.

  • The evening features a Parents’ Evening and Kids’ Social Event, followed by dinner and relaxed festival activities.

Festival Day 2 – Matches, Skills & Community Events

Day 04

Finals Day & Closing Ceremony

  • After breakfast and room check-out, teams take part in the final round of matches, including the Girls’ Final on the main ground.

  • Lunch is provided according to match schedules.

  • The festival concludes with the Closing Ceremony and Presentations, celebrating performances, teamwork, and the APEX experience before departures.
